I've been noticing recently that all the images in my Instagram gallery are flowers.  It's been that way for quite awhile now!  I actually do take other photos, I promise - well usually anyway!  However, as a sign of our times, I've been sticking pretty close to home and it really shows in my photography.  It has given me the opportunity to spend more time researching and learning new post-processing techniques in Photoshop and maybe going just a little bit crazy.  But it has been fun, and maybe in a few months I'll look back and say 'what were you thinking'??!!  For now I'm just enjoying my artistic leanings.

My Mom used to grow fuchsias as house plants and once in a while, when I was little she would let me squeeze the buds to hear them pop and reveal the frilly interior petals.

We paid a visit to Ellis Bird Farm recently. I know, it’s supposed to be about the birds, but their garden spaces are amazing!
